Dr. Kerry went to medical school in Madison, Wisconsin. In medical school her long-standing expectation was confirmed, she wanted to be a family medicine doctor. She returned to the Pacific Northwest (having grown up in Hood River) to start her family medicine residency at Providence Milwaukie Hospital. Following residency she worked in traditional family medicine clinic during which she discovered that she needed and wanted to find a new way to practice medicine. She did not like trying to see as many patients per day as possible. She started Healthy Living Family Medicine to provide her patients with longer appointment times and more personal treatment which she finds much more fulfilling. She wants to create an environment where her patients feel safe and happy coming to the doctor.

Treatment offerings include: Preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases, acute illness and injury evaluations, nutrition evaluations, osteopathic manipulation, craniosacral therapy

Interests include: Dr. Kerry’s goal is to help promote wellness in her patients and their families. Her belief is that your body has a natural ability to create and sustain health. She provides patient-centered care that benefits the entire person. She wants to find the root cause of symptoms, not only to alleviate them. She works with her patients to come up with a plan that is both realistic and effective. Thus, her patient care integrates medications with diet and exercise, as well as referrals to massage, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine and various other modalities. Her goal is to do this in a compassionate, cost-effective, and earth-friendly manner.
